Andy Murray hints at Cam Norrie succeeding him ahead of clash in emotional on-court speech

“I want to make the most of it while I’m still able to.” Murray’s win means that he will take on world number 11 Norrie in the Round of 32. The two Brits have only ever faced each other once before, with Murray coming out on top, though the upcoming match is certainly one that many won’t want to miss.

Norrie beat Dane Holger Rune in his opening clash of the tournament, with a 7-6 (5) 4-6 6-4 victory. A victory for Murray over Wimbledon semi-finalist Norrie will certainly lay down a marker that he is still performing at the very top level, though defeat could be perceived as passing on the baton to the 26-year-old.
