The two sisters appeared on ITV’s Lorraine together to raise awareness about cancer among teenagers and toll on mental health.

Speaking about the moment she found out about her sister’s illness while filming on Emmerdale, Eden said: “We were on a tea break and they said, ‘Just go. Whatever you need, we’re here.’

“And I was just in shock but yeah they gave me a mont off while chess was in intensive chemo I could be there. Yeah, they were amazing.”

Despite the cancer diagnosis, the two sisters were brought closer together by the ordeal.

Eden said: “It’s so nice that we found this friendship within being sisters through this experience and we couldn’t be closer.”

Francesca said she is doing better now in the interview from 2021. She turned 18 back in April this year with Eden posting a shot of them together on her Instagram account.

She shared the picture with her 100,000 followers and wrote: “My bestie just turned 18.”
