Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed some early team news ahead of the Carabao Cup final clash with Chelsea, despite the Wembley showdown over a month away. The Reds reached the final after beating Arsenal across a two-legged semi-final.
Following a drab goalless first leg at Anfield, Diogo Jota’s brace ensured Arsenal were beaten at the Emirates Stadium.
The Anfield outfit will face Chelsea after the Blues defeated Tottenham in their semi-final.
Wembley will not host the final until February 27 but Klopp has already given away some team news.
Second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will start in goal against the Londoners.
The Irishman has played in every round of the competition, although did not feature in the first leg against Arsenal as Klopp wanted to give Alisson Becker game time after recovering from COVID-19.

Klopp has hailed the ‘outstanding’ Kelleher and revealed that he will begin the clash at Wembley.
“Caoimhin will play, if he is fit,” Klopp said on Friday.
“We consider Caoimhin as an outstanding goalie. Not a good goalie, an outstanding goalie, and we want to keep him here.
“And to keep him here you need to make sure of a few things. Before a season you need to think and talk about about the different games he will get.
“He makes saves that other goalkeepers would make look difficult, but he makes them look very easy when it’s actually a great save.
“His handling is very good, catching balls that other keepers would parry away.”
He added: “If I ever do need to speak to him about anything he would always help me.
“It’s a great environment to learn and improve in with such experienced coaches and goalies.”
