Police were called to a fight at 8.34am this morning in Blyth Road, Hayes. A statement issued by the Met said: “Officers attended the location and found a 15-year-old boy suffering from multiple stab wounds.
“Colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended and despite their efforts, the teenager sadly died at the scene.
“A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. Formal identification has not taken place.
“A crime scene has been established and cordons remain in place at this time.
“Police have detained a suspect – no further details at this time.”
The teen is the 16th to have been killed in London this year – one more than the total number for last year.”
This is the 16th teenager murdered in London this year, passing the 2020 number of 15.
A video apparently shot at the scene shows three police cars and an ambulance in the road, with officers standing guard.
Yesterday saw stabbings in Clapham, Harrow and Streatham, with the latter tragically proving fatal for the victim.
