Manchester United star Paul Pogba is looking for a new club with Paris Saint-Germain a potential option. However, Mauricio Pochettino would prefer to bring in Tanguy Ndombele, who could spurn his countryman’s next move.
Pogba’s list of potential clubs to join in the summer might be getting shorter by the week after PSG’s latest transfer ambition.
Pochettino has made Ndombele at Tottenham a top target with a loan being prepared for the rest of the season.
That could very well include a buy option with Antonio Conte keen to see the midfielder axed while a return to Ligue 1 could be for the best.
It was Pochettino that signed Ndombele while at Spurs but was not around long enough to utilise the Frenchman’s prowess after getting the sack.

Jose Mourinho moved in and immediately ostracised the former Lyon ace, a situation that has continued under subsequent managers Nuno Espirito Santo and now Conte.
The 25-year-old’s arrival at the Parc des Princes would all but end their interest in Pogba with several players already in that position.
And that spells bad news for the United star, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Over the years, there has been plenty of interest in the World Cup winner including from Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona and PSG.
But those options are looking threadbare now with Pochettino’s latest transfer decision and none of the mentioned could arguably make a move this summer.
Barcelona are reeling from a financial crisis and are more interested in outgoings while Xavi only wants to bring in forwards.
Juventus are in a similar situation and cannot afford to fork out much more with their wage bill weighing heavy on the club.
Real Madrid are prepared to put all their efforts into signing both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, which will take all of their economic might.
It leaves Pogba short of options and a renewal at Old Trafford might be his only choice now – which would quite the turnaround after years of speculation.
At the age of 28, this is likely the midfielder’s last chance at a mega-sized contract while his time at United has largely been somewhat subdued after so much expectation.
This campaign has been wrecked by injury but there is hope that he can return and still have a large say on the rest of the season.
The Red Devils are desperate to land a spot in the top four of the Premier League and will need all the talent at their disposal to do so.
However, under Ralf Rangnick it remains to be seen where Pogba would fit into his set-up with Fred and Scott McTominay firmly first-choice as a midfield partnership.
Ahead of them, Bruno Fernandes is top dog as an attacking midfielder while the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and now Anthony Elanga are forward options.
