Tottenham beat Man City: Four things we learned as Harry Kane inspires Spurs to shock win

Conte’s latest project

At Chelsea it was Victor Moses, at Inter Milan it was Achraf Hakimi, at Tottenham, it appears to be Ryan Sessegnon. The Italian has brought the former Fulham ace in from the cold at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

While Conte dealt the Englishman a last lesson against Wolves by hooking him off after only 28 minutes, the former Chelsea boss appears to have a lot of faith in Sessegnon.

Things may not have gone to plan for Sessegnon since his arrival since his £25million arrival in 2019, but he has been given a huge chance by Conte at left-wing-back. With his dynamite pace, impressive dribbling, and ability to interlink with the midfielders and wingers around him, Sessegnon appears to have all the attributes to thrive under Conte.

And if he is afforded enough time, trust, and guidance, then he could become a huge star on Tottenham’s left side.
