A young Brit has died after plunging 30ft from a balcony at a hotel in Ibiza.
Robyn-Eve Maines, 24, has been described as “beautiful inside and out” by devastated friends. She fell during a holiday in San Antonio on the party island.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, at around 9am on Sunday, September 25, at the four star Rosamar Hotel, reports The Liverpool Echo.
In a tribute to her daughter, mum Clare Maines, of from Wallasey, Merseyside, said: “Our beautiful 24-year-old daughter sadly passed away after falling 30ft off her balcony.
“There are no words for us. We are truly heartbroken.”
Robyn-Eve’s brother, Cam Maines, said: “For those who don’t already know today I lost my big sister Robyn-Eve Maines, she fell 30ft from a hotel balcony in Ibiza.
“She will forever be loved and remembered for the fantastic person she is.
“Our hearts bleed for the loss of someone so special. I love you big sis always will.”
Hundreds of people have taken to social media to share their condolences and tributes to Robyn-Eve.
Another tribute, from Toni Goodwin reads: “Oh Robyn-Eve Maines I can’t even begin to say how devastated I am with this sad news! I am truly heartbroken.
“You were one of my best friends this doesn’t seem real at all.
“You will be so so missed by so many and I can’t even imagine how you’re family are feeling.
“You’ll always have a special place in my heart Love you always fly high angel.”
Victoria Carr said: “Robyn-Eve Maines was a firecracker, beautiful inside and out and so much fun to be around.
“Her family and friends are in my thoughts at this sad time. I love you.”
People took to The Echo’s Facebook page to pay tribute to Robyn-Eve.
