While the weather in the UK has gotten much colder, it’s not too early to start dreaming of summer as lastminute.com is offering deals on sunny holidays in the new year. Although Black Friday is over, you can get even better deals now.
Lastminute.com reported that there was a 71 percent increase for bookings during Black Friday compared to the week before, further showing that Brits are looking to book holidays with a bargain.
And there’s good news, the site has launched Small Budgets Big Holidays where travellers can book holidays under £500, with some even under £250.
Travellers can find deals on packages that include flights and holidays, which is more affordable than booking separately.
Reigo Eljas, UK/Ireland Country Director said: “With our January sale launching soon, we expect to see a similar trend with savvy consumers who are still keen to explore and discover new destinations in 2023, but don’t want to break the bank in the current economic uncertainty. We clearly see that appetite to travel remains strong, however when choosing a holiday the value for money and budgeting is clearly front of mind.”
If you’re after winter sun, you can find deals on beach destinations for under £350.
Highlights include a four night holiday to Malta from £83, departing January 9, 2023 and a five-night holiday to Algarve in Portugal from £88 per person.
However, lastminute.com has also reported that European city breaks to Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and Dublin have been the most popular to book.
Available now, travellers can find short stays to Krakow, Rome, Riga and Valencia under £100 with plenty of availability in January.
With all travel plans, it’s always wise to book as soon as possible to get the cheapest price.
On lastminute.com, you can book with a small deposit and pay the rest with instalments to save even more over time.
